Welcome to Bakers Delight Lies.
This is the third website set up by former Bakers Delight franchisees to caution potential investors about the traps and risks of franchising.
We endeavour to expose the truth behind the lies and hope that our experiences prevent others from encountering the torment and anguish that some franchisors inflict on their franchisees.
All opinions expressed are provided in good faith and are formed from our experiences and the experiences of other former franchisees. We have regular contact with existing franchisees who are struggling to hold on to their investment, and believe they are trapped.
Information provided is from reliable sources and include articles from the two websites that Baker Delight have successfully shut down.
Over the last few weeks there have been some interesting developments including an attempt by Bakers Delight Holdings to thwart the development of this website. We look forward to writing about these in the coming days.

We lost our BD Franchise in 2011 after nearly a decade of hard work, stress, near nervous breakdown and little income. We have got on with our lives and the business liquidation has been sorted out. We now have $300,000.00 extra on our mortgage as well a bad credit ratings. But we saved our house, our marriage and family so I guess we got out better than some of our fellow franchissees. We do not see any chance of ever bring BDH to account for what they do along with our bank who colluded with BDH (Not ANZ) but what they are doing should serve as a warning. It is a failed business model unsuited to the changing world of consumer tastes, high rents and supermarkets trading long hours, I am still in touch with other business owners and I am outraged at what they did to my business. Give it away to the persons who were planning to buy it for $zilch... I could go on for hours but it has taken me a long while to be in a stable state of mind to write this without going off my brain......
